Gunns Camp in Okavango Delta
Each tent has been traditionally furnished and offers a lounge area as well as private veranda. The accommodation area is connected to the main camp via raised wooden walkway crossing the wetlands and magically lit by a series of fairylike lanterns. Guests have access to the elevated bar, lounge and dining room, campfire boma and swimming pool. Our activities are mokoro excursions, motor boat cruises, fishing and guided game walks on Chief’s Island. Guests can learn anything from plants and their medicinal uses, to birds and their calls. It is an amazing way to experience the Delta and many guests leave appreciating the smaller life as opposed to just the normal big five!

Day 2
Day two includes a morning and afternoon activity. This can be a choice between a Mokoro trip, a game walk, a motorboat cruise and fishing (Private mokoro / boating day trip may be possible).

Day 3
Your final day at Gunn's Camp will include a morning and afternoon activity. This can be a Mokoro trip, a game walk, a motor boat cruise or fishing.
This evening, a private romantic dinner for 2.

Day 4
In the morning catch a short 10 minute scenic flight over the heart of the Okavango Delta to Pom Pom Camp or Rra Dinare.
On arrival, enjoy welcome cocktails and traditional singing and dancing. Afternoon game drive, returning to camp as sun sets. A bottle of cold champagne will be in your room, waiting for you. Your room has an outside shower, and a starlight bath situated on the verandah.

Pom Pom Camp:
Pom Pom Camp bath
Situated in the heart of the Okavango Delta within the MATSEBE private concession. This exclusive camp is thoughtfully designed overlooking a scenic lagoon. The tents have en suite showers and toilets with honeymoon tent also featuring romantic outside bath on a verandah. In the main thatched building you will find a cozy bar, lounge and table settings for imaginative meals prepared by our safari chefs. PomPom is known as much for its “soul” as for the game and wildlife in the area. There is the possibility of seeing numerous different species of game. In addition to big game, Pom Pom is a bird-watcher’s paradise. For your comfort, game drives are offered in new, luxury open-viewing land cruisers, with a tracker and a driver / guide. Giant Eagle Owls are resident in the camp and a rare and elusive Pel’s Fishing Owl is regularly sighted.
Rra Dinare:
Rra Dinare accommodation deck
Rra Dinare is a new camp overlooking the Gomoti River and its flood plains in the South Eastern Okavango Delta. A second camp (still to be named) will open later. Adjacent to Moremi Game reserve, the camps are located in a private concession of 67,000 acres and have been designed to embrace the natural surroundings of the riverine forest. The airstrip which will be servicing the two camps is approximately 20min by chartered flight from Maun and 1h20min from Kasane. The camps are situated 45min game drive from the airstrip.
Since this area normally receives floods last it contains some of the closest dry-season watering points for the game that spreads out towards Nxai and Makgadikgadi Pans during the rains. Around this, there is a high density of game in the dry season but since quite a lot of the reserve is mopane woodlands (a favourite location for animals during the rains and early dry season) good game viewing is expected all year round.

This river system attracts a wide variety of game. Familiar favourites include: Elephant, Buffalo, Giraffe, Kudu, Impala, Tsessebe, Hippo, Crocodile, Genet, Honey Badger and a host of Plains Game. Rare Antelope breeds including Roan, Sable & Eland, not normally seen in the Okavango region, occur here. As the Gomoti is the main water source in the area, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and Wild Dog come down to the riverside to drink and hunt, of course! The locations and views are spectacular with the classic flooding of the Okavango across the adjacent seasonal floodplains. For those keen on bird-watching, the combination of the wetlands and the drier Acacia and Mopane veldt provide a perfect habitat for a variety of aquatic species including Open Billed Storks, Hammerkops, Egrets, Ibis and forest/savannah dwellers including Raptors, Shrikes, Drongos, Sunbirds, Ground Hornbills and so on.

Game drives (day & night) in a private concession adjacent to Moremi Game reserve, on & off road, 6 people per vehicle only, driver & tracker (on night game drives). Seasonal water activities on Gomoti river and game walks available depending on local conditions.
