Day 1: Olive Grove Guest House
Upon your arrival at Hosea Kutako (Windhoek) International Airport you will be met and transferred to the Olive Exclusive Boutique Hotel in where you will spend one night. Your stay includes breakfast.
Day 2 -3: Okonjima
Wake up to a sensational breakfast before you climb into your car for a 3-hour, scenic drive to Okonjima. Spend two nights at Okonjima in the Bush Suite. Your stay includes all meals and scheduled activities.
Okonjima Bush Camp:
The delightful Okonjima Bush Camp is situated in the pristine wilderness area between Windhoek and Etosha National Park. Situated on the edge of a wilderness area, guests can expect truly exhilarating wildlife encounters.
Okonjima is also the home of the AfriCat Foundation, an organisation committed to the conservation of Namibia's large carnivores. Adventures include cheetah tracking on foot, leopard tracking, birdwatching and the opportunity to embark on the Bushman Trail, where guests can experience a day in the life of a San Bushman. Self-guided trails within the Omboroko Mountain range offer you fantastic hiking adventures.
With the abundance of animal and bird life, as well as spectacular scenery, Okonjima is a photographer's paradise.
Day 4 - 5: Onguma Tented Camp (Etosha National Park)
Tuck into a wholesome breakfast and head off on a 3 to 4 hour self drive adventure to the beautiful Onguma Tented Camp. Spend two nights at Onguma Tented Camp in a twin bedded tent. Your stay includes breakfast and dinner. Optional adventures include morning and afternoon game drives into Etosha National Park.
Onguma Tented Camp:
Situated near a popular waterhole, Onguma Tented Camp offers its guests an enticing mixture of sophistication and relaxation.
Adventures include exhilarating game drives in the Onguma Private Nature Reserve (home to more than 300 bird species and 30 different animal species) and Etosha National Park — the largest national park in Namibia.
Day 6: Ongava Lodge
Today you’ll drive through breathtaking wilderness to Ongava Lodge. Your traveling time will depend on how long you choose to view the exceptional wildlife you may encounter on your route. Spend one night at Ongava Lodge in a chalet with en-suite bathroom. Your stay includes all meals, all local branded drinks and scheduled activities.
Ongava Lodge:
Ongava Game Reserve, originally four cattle ranches, now abounds with game and serves as a vital buffer zone between Etosha National Park and farming communities further south. Situated in this reserve, Ongava Lodges offer luxury accommodation and impressive uninterrupted views across the exceptionally beautiful surrounding landscape.
While staying at Ongava, guests can track rhino on foot, or go on a game drive to view Elephant, Lion, Black Rhino, Springbok, Gemsbok and Hartebeest. Leopard and Cheetah also occur in this area. Birdlife in the reserve is outstanding, with White-tailed Shrike, Short-toed Rock Thrush, Hartlaub's Francolin and raptors in abundance.
Day 7 - 8: Mowani Mountain Camp
After a delectable breakfast hop back into your car for the approximately 5-hour journey to Mowani Mountain Camp. Spend two nights at Mowani Mountain Camp in a twin bedded luxury East Africa-style superior safari tent. Your stay includes meals, a guided walk and two scheduled activities.
Mowani Mountain Camp:
The delightful Mowani Mountain Camp lies hidden amongst towering boulders in Namibia’s breathtaking Damaraland region.
Guests can join a game drive in the renowned Twyfelfontein region in search of desert-adapted elephant or stretch their legs on guided hikes. A trip to the ancient San (Bushmen) rock engravings is one of the highlights of the area.
Day 9 - 10: Swakopmund
Today you will drive approximately 5 to 6 hours to Namibia’s charming seaside town of Swakopmund. Spend two nights at the Swakopmund Guest House in a twin bedded room. Your stay is on a bed and breakfast basis.
Day 11-13: &Beyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge
After exploring the many sights of Swakopmund, drive approximately 5 to 6 hours to &Beyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge, passing through some of Namibia’s most dramatic landscapes en route.
Unwind for 3 nights at &Beyond Sossusvlei Desert Lodge in a desert villa with an ensuite bathroom and a private veranda. Your stay includes three meals daily, soft drinks, house wines, local brand spirits and beers, teas and coffees, refreshments on game drives, laundry, safari activities and one Sossusvlei excursion.
