Day 1: Victoria Falls
Hotel transfer on arrival at Victoria Falls Airport. Zimbabwe offers the visitor a host of natural wonders, not least of which is the legendary Victoria Falls, Mosi-Oa-Tunya or The Smoke That Thunders. In modern terms Victoria Falls is known as the greatest curtain of falling water in the world.
Afternoon at leisure to explore the Victoria Falls town, that’s been transformed by explorers, hunters and missionaries. A mere stroll through the village will give you a sense of the African cultures and history that have shaped the former frontier town. Overnight in Victoria Falls on a bed & breakfast basis.
Day 2: Victoria Falls
After breakfast, take a guided tour of Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. With a width of 1.7kms, the Falls have the capacity to push 550 000m3 of water per minute over the basalt cliff into the Zambezi River Gorge. The cliff over which the falls thunder, transforms the Zambezi from a placid river into a ferocious torrent, cutting through a series of dramatic gorges.
In the afternoon, enjoy a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River, in search of hippo, crocodile and elephant in their home environment. Remainder of the day is at leisure.

Day 3: Victoria Falls – Chobe National Park
After breakfast take a road transfer to Chobe National Park in Botswana, where you will stay for 2 nights on a full board basis. Chobe is home to 450 bird species and Africa’s largest concentration of elephants combined with magnificent wildlife sightings.
Overnight in the Chobe National Park area including breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Thrilling game drives in open safari vehicles lead by professional, qualified guides bring you close to hippos, buffalos, puku and other animals that gather on the banks of the Chobe River. After experiencing the magnificent Chobe National Park you will be taken back to your lodge for an afternoon at leisure. After a short siesta, depart for your afternoon game viewing activity.

After a sumptuous breakfast you transfer by road to Victoria Falls Airport for your return flight to Johannesburg (alternatively, continue onto the Delta and/or Namibia).
