Rhino Post Safari Lodge:
Rhino Post Safari Lodge accommodation
Stilts raise the 8 spaciously appointed suites from the riverbank allowing guests to view the Mutlumuvi riverbed with ease from the bedroom, bathroom and private wooden deck. The suites are set out in an open plan style with wooden floors, thatched roofs, canvas walls and an overhead fan. Each en suite bathroom includes a deep, freestanding bath, „his and hers‟ basins, a separate toilet and an outdoor shower protected by thick reed poles. The bathroom floor is attractively decorated with delicate mosaic designs complimenting the contemporary floor. All the suites have mini-bars and telephones linked to all areas.

Built using natural materials of stone, wood, thatch & canvas, the utmost care was taken to minimise the environmental impact of the lodge, and to that end, no concrete was used in the building‟s foundations. Careful consideration was taken in the layout of the camp, battery power is used for lighting, special indigenous Reed bed System processes the bathroom waste, and other waste is sorted and recycled wherever possible.

Guests can choose to stay on at Rhino Post Safari Lodge for the full 3 nights (must be pre-booked) or do 1 night at Rhino Post Safari Lodge and a 2 night Rhino Walking Safari at Plains Camp.

Built in authentic pioneer tradition, it has the serenity of a 19th century naturalists rest, nestled in an Acacia Knobthorn thicket. The concession comprises of environmentally sensitive areas with huge diversity of both fauna and flora – an ideal setting for wilderness walking safaris in an internationally renowned big five area.

The morning activity at Plains Camp will always be a safari walk, and the afternoon activity will be either a safari walk or game drive (if all the guests request it).

After spending 3 nights in the Kruger National Park you then either take a scenic 1,5 hour flight over the Kruger National Park, Swaziland, Jozini Lake and the Maputaland Coast or drive yourselves to your next destination (popular options are either the Panorama Route and/or Swaziland).

If you choose to drive to Swaziland, you will take a leisurely drive through the Kruger Park into Swaziland (remember your passports) and on to your accommodation for example Reiley's Rock or the famous Beehive Villages in the Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary (not included in this package so let us know if you would like to include it). This will be about a 4 hour drive from Rhino Post to Reiley’s Rock or Beehive Villages. The next day enjoy Swaziland diverse scenery and culture on your way to Kosi Forest Lodge near Kosi Bay(about 4,5 hour drive).

Kosi Forest Lodge:
Kosi Forest Lodge holiday package

Inspired by Thonga architecture, the rooms have been carefully positioned to guarantee guest privacy. Some rooms offer sea views (see rates), whilst others are set within the dune forest. All have private balconies. Luxuriously decorated, the rooms exude a romantic ambiance. Bleached wood, glass and natural materials have been wisely used to create an open, airy feel.
