Your light aircraft flight will offer you an introduction to the Okavango Delta as you witness the vastness of the world heritage site from the air. Landing at the Moremi airstrip, your guide will meet you and transfer you by road to Camp Moremi where you can settle into your luxurious tent.
You will spend the next three nights at Camp Moremi enjoying game drives and boating excursions as you search for the prolific wildlife that inhabits the Moremi Game Reserve. Your honeymoon package includes a private dinner set up in a remote location of the lodge where you can take in the lodge’s romantic bushveld setting.

Camp Moremi has a well-deserved legacy in the Botswana tourism industry for being able to deliver the classic African safari experience. Completely rebuilt in 2018 as a modern luxury safari lodge, Camp Moremi is located within the world-renowned Moremi Game Reserve.
Camp Moremi boasts 12 expansive, modern-styled thatched safari tents, including one family room, and accommodates a maximum of twenty-four guests. The family room which includes two separate bedrooms and bathrooms connects through inter-leading doors. All standard tents are expansive with spacious bathrooms consisting of double vanities and showers, and private decks offering views over the Moremi Game Reserve. The subtle decor and lighting fixtures allow for a natural and warm atmosphere within each room to create a peaceful and harmonious blend with the surrounding environment.
Guest activities include a choice of morning and afternoon game drives throughout the many different ecosystems that the Moremi Game Reserve has to offer or the possibility to explore the Xakanaxa Lagoon and its surrounding channels by boat. This blend of activities allows for access to incredible landscapes, and impressive wildlife as well as the opportunity to enjoy the picturesque waters of the Okavango Delta.
Day 7 - 9Enjoy a final morning game drive in the Moremi Game Reserve before your light aircraft transfer to Camp Okavango, a remote lodge on a private concession in the heart of the Okavango Delta. Originally built in 1982, Camp Okavango is one of the original safari camps on the Okavango Delta. Now rebuilt as an all-new luxury safari lodge, Camp Okavango is the perfect base from which to experience the Okavango Delta.
Here you will spend the next two nights exploring the intricacies of the Okavango Delta from a variety of activities including mokoro excursions, boating safaris, and guided bush walks. Your honeymoon package includes a 60-minute helicopter scenic flight including a private romantic champagne sundowner on a remote island in the Okavango Delta.

Camp Okavango, a unique and exclusive African safari camp is situated on the remote Nxaragha Island. This hidden treasure, in the heart of the permanent Okavango Delta, assures its guests of an unparalleled year-round water wilderness experience.
To ensure a peaceful and genuine safari experience, Camp Okavango accommodates just twenty-four guests. There are eleven intimate Safari suites and one Family suite consisting of two bedrooms and each with an en-suite bathroom. Each of the guest suites has been built on individual raised wooden platforms and set beneath the thick Okavango Delta vegetation. The en-suite bathrooms have double vanities, a double shower, and a separate water closet (with a view). The stack-away sliding doors open onto a private open-air viewing deck offering beautiful views over the Okavango Delta.
Water-based activities are conducted by experienced professional guides who will expertly navigate guests through the many meandering, reed-lined waterways. Roam the vast expanses of water from the comfort of a modern motorboat or explore the intricacies of the Okavango Delta the quiet old-fashioned way, in the traditional mokoro (dugout canoe).
For those wanting to get a little closer to nature, guided bush walks are conducted on a number of the nearby islands, offering an opportunity to track some of the larger land-based species that inhabit this water wilderness. Birding opportunities are outstanding and anglers may put their skill against bream and tiger fish. Camp Okavango is a water-based camp and game-drive activities, using safari vehicles, are not possible.
Day 9 - 11
Your final stop for your honeymoon package is Leroo La Tau. You will catch a light aircraft from Camp Okavango to Leroo La Tau before transferring by road to the lodge, set on the banks of the Boteti River, overlooking the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park.
You will spend the next two nights at Leroo La Tau enjoying daily game drives along the Boteti River to witness the prolific wildlife that frequents the region. Optional excursions to the nearby Khumaga village are also available for a chance to experience Botswana's unique culture. As a final farewell gift, you will enjoy a traditional Setswana blessing with the staff at Leroo La Tau and members of the Khumaga community.

The lodge features twelve luxurious thatched and glass-fronted suites with en-suite bathrooms, each unit raised on a wooden platform. The main lounge and dining area, with its inviting wooden and thatch finish, allows you to relax at the bar while listening to the wide variety of night sounds so characteristic of the African bush. Alternatively, you can lounge around the swimming pool or enjoy the panoramic river vista from the game-viewing hide built into the bank of the river.
The lodge offers guided game drives in the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park focusing on the exceptional wildlife sightings along the Boteti River. Depending on the water level, boat activities are also provided. Optional cultural excursions can be arranged to Khumaga Village as well as day trips to Nxai pan and Baines Baobabs (three-night stay only - we can arrange this extension for you).
Leroo La Tau translates as ‘lion’s paw’ but, although the surrounding area features abundant lions; it also boasts Zebra, Wildebeest, Chobe Bushbuck, Leopard, Cheetah, Brown and Spotted Hyena, Impala, Kudu, Jackal, Porcupine, Genet, and Caracal, to name but a few.
Please note: Owing to their remote location within the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, the Makgadikgadi Pans themselves are not visited on daily scheduled activities from Leroo La Tau. Leroo La Tau is built on cliffs over 10 meters above this changing riparian environment, offering a vantage point that ensures unsurpassed views of the river and the Makgadikgadi Pans to the east.
Day 11
You will enjoy your morning activity and breakfast before bidding your newfound friends farewell. You will be collected from Leroo La Tau and transferred by light aircraft to Maun Airport for your onward arrangements, taking unforgettable memories of Botswana and its amazing people with you that will stay with you forever...
