Day 3 and 4
This morning enjoy leisurely breakfast before your transfer to Kasane Airport from where you will depart on your scheduled charter flight to Savute Safari Lodge, situated in the pristine Savute Channel of Chobe National Park.
Spend 2 nights at Savute Safari Lodge and enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner on your private deck.

Savute Safari Lodge accommodation
Savute Safari Lodge is situated on the banks of Botswana’s fabled “Stolen River” the Savute Channel.

To ensure a private and relaxing environment, Savute Safari Lodge accommodates just twenty-four guests in eleven thatched chalets built of local timber and one family room which consists of two double bedrooms. The chalets, which have been elegantly furnished in calm neutral tones to blend with the natural environment, feature expansive private decks, a combined bedroom and lounge area and en suite facilities.
Activities are organised around game drives throughout the Savute area in open 4x4 safari vehicles. Many trips will incorporate a visit to the Savute Marsh to give you a chance to see the historic presence of the Savute Channel at the marsh against a backdrop of teeming wildlife. Guests can also enjoy a visit to the ancient San rock paintings at Gubatsa Hills – a small hilly outcrop which forms a prominent landmark in the otherwise flat landscape.
Savute boasts the second-largest summer Zebra migration in Africa; its timing is determined by the rains, but usually occurs between November and December and again between February and April, when the Zebras move from the rivers in the north in search of the rain-ripe grasslands and full waterholes in the southwest of the park. The migration is always followed by large numbers of predators – the Zebra migration is a must for visitors.

Day 5 and 6
After your morning game activity at Savute Safari Lodge enjoy a delicious breakfast before short transfer to the airstrip for depart on a scheduled 35 minute charter flight to the magic that is Xugana Island Lodge.

Xugana Island Lodge accommodation
Xugana’s romantic location on a forested island beside a deep, glassy lagoon is hard to beat. Located in a private concession in the remote northern Delta, the camp is a true water-based one.
Eight large reed and thatch chalets are raised up on wooden decking and have private bathrooms. All have private decks overlooking the lagoon - the sunsets are sublime.
Xugana prides itself on its approach to fine dining. Enjoy a delicious lunch, after which you can depart on your afternoon game activity where you choose to enjoy a boat cruise and even try your hand at some fishing, or enjoy an exciting game walk on one of the islands in the Okavango Delta…

You will enjoy a romantic dinner at a scenic location on the floating deck - a spectacular location with a magnificent view... Two nights at Xugana Island Lodge on a fully inclusive basis.

Day 7 and 8
Enjoy your morning activity before departing after breakfast on your scheduled charter flight to the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park where you will be staying at Leroo La Tau!!

Leroo La Tau
The lodge features twelve luxurious thatched and glass-fronted suites with en-suite bathrooms, each unit raised on a wooden platform. The main lounge and dining area, with its inviting wooden and thatch finish, allows you to relax at the bar while listening to the wide variety of night sounds so characteristic of the African bush. Alternatively you can lounge around the swimming pool or enjoy the panoramic river vista from the game-viewing hide built into the bank of the river.
The lodge offers guided day and night game drives. Depending on the water level, boat activities are also provided. Optional cultural excursions can be arranged to Khumaga Village, as can guided nature walks in the area surrounding the lodge.
Leroo La Tau translates as ‘lion’s paw’ but, although the surrounding area features abundant Lion, Zebra and Wildebeest, it also boasts Chobe Bushbuck, Leopard, Cheetah, Brown and Spotted Hyena, Impala, Kudu, Jackal, Porcupine, Genet and Caracal, to name but a few.
Please note: Owing to their remote location within the Makgadikgadi Pans National Park, the Makgadikgadi Pans themselves are not visited on daily scheduled activities from Leroo La Tau. Leroo La Tau is built on cliffs over 10 metres above this changing riparian environment, offering a vantage point that ensures unsurpassed views of the river and the Makgadikgadi Pans to the east.
