Kaza Safari Lodge (ex-Impalila Island Lodge):
Nestled close to the junction of four countries - Namibia, Botswana, Zambia and Zimbabwe - and near the meeting place of the mighty Zambezi and Chobe Rivers, Kaza Safari Lodge is a water-bound wonderland.

With over 100km of waterways to traverse, Kaza Safari Lodge lies a mere 80km upriver from the Victoria Falls. Surrounded by rippling beds of pink-tinged water lilies, the lodge lies protectively beneath the branches of a 700 year-old Baobab tree under which, it is said, David Livingstone camped.

Eight luxury en-suite chalets all with river views echo the colors of Africa. Here lies promise of excitement by day; tranquility by night.

Encounter Africa's big game and birdlife by boat or challenge the legendary tigerfish on fly. Follow the island's footpaths for an intriguing village visit and learn of the medicinal uses of the indigenous plant life.
Kaza Safari Lodge birdsDay 5 & 6
Transfer by boat to Kasane Immigration, clearing Namibian immigration formalities en-route, road transfer to Elephant Valley Lodge (Botswana), for 2 nights.

Includes: All meals, select local drinks, soft drinks and waters, bed levies, park entrance fees, transfers to and from Kasane Airport for guests arriving or departing with scheduled flights only and two daily safari activities (morning boat cruise and afternoon game drive).

Elephant Valley Lodge:
The Chobe region is home to the largest population of wild elephant in the world. This is estimated to be approximately 120,000 individuals. Their sometimes daily passage takes them from Zimbabwe through the Chobe and on into Namibia before returning. Elephant Valley Lodge lies along one of these routes and is situated in the Kasane Forest, which is adjacent to the Chobe National Park.

Open guest areas, a secluded hide, refreshing swimming pool and 20 ‘meru styled’ tents complete the lodge which lies beneath a forest of sturdy knob thorns. It is within these tree tops that the largest colony of white back vultures occurs. The lodge is unique for several reasons and amongst these is the fact that it is situated within a game rich reserve affording the guests wonderful sightings between our open landrover safaris into the Chobe and boat cruises along the Chobe River
