The hotel has a multitude of facilities from mountain picnic trails with hammocks strung surreptitiously on the trails. And live entertainment in the Leopard Room Bar and Lounge; a 16-seater cinema and a fully equipped wellness center for your indulgence. A gorgeous escape for both wedding and honeymoon.

Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa Wedding Packages

We have 2 different wedding packages available and obviously, these can be tailor-made for your special day, namely the Destination Wedding Package for 2 – 16 guests available during the week only. And the Standard Wedding Package suitable for 25 – 80 guests any day of the week.

Both are held at the beautiful Table Mountain Fynbos Garden behind the hotel (weather permitting)

The couple will enjoy complimentary use of the Fynbos Garden for the ceremony (subject to weather conditions) for both packages. Ceremonies are held under the Gazebo with views of the glistening ocean and a magical mountain backdrop. This enchanting setting can also be used for up to 80 guests for pre-reception cocktails and canapés and photos after the ceremony. The perfect backdrop for group photos.

Destination wedding package terms and conditions:

The destination wedding package is a midweek package, available from Monday to Thursday. Block-out dates apply including the full month of February.
Suitable for 2 – 16 people.
Should guests exceed 18 people, we can quote accordingly.
Rates are in South African Rand and include 15% VAT. They are subject to change without prior notice.

Should the bridal couple originate from countries aligned with The Hague Convention (and not part of the British Common Wealth); they may require an “Apostille” stamped marriage certificate. This will require additional services and documentation from the minister; resulting in an additional charge in the region of R 3 000.

The services of a professional photographer (2 hours) to capture your day, providing 200-250 perfectly edited images (All images provided via “online gallery”, no prints included – should number of guests attending the wedding increase above ten people, a longer shoot time will be required – Please discuss with your coordinator)
Hair and make-up artist to style the bride, in her room on the day of the wedding (No trial included)

2. Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa Standard Wedding Package

The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa’s magnificent setting is suitable for a range of wedding options. From morning teas and celebratory lunches to grand dinners or after parties. All overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. A dedicated Wedding Coordinator is on hand to organize your big day and ensures the perfect wedding experience. From flowers to entertainment and customized menus. They will assist the bridal couple with planning even the smallest detail. This is a complimentary service offered by the hotel.

Ceremonies are under a gazebo in the indigenous Fynbos Garden. Where couples exchange vows amidst uninterrupted views of the glistening ocean and a magical mountain backdrop. This enchanting setting accommodates up to eighty guests. The venue sets the scene for photo opportunities to capture the spirit of this special day; in order to create the perfect wedding album.

Should the weather conditions not be suitable; the ceremony will be at the Atlantic Terrace Marquee. With guests witnessing the exchanging of the vows from their seating at tables. Alternatively, the ceremony can take place in the Lion’s Head Room or Milkwood Rooms (subject to availability). To guarantee an alternate venue for the ceremony; the Lion’s Head Room is the perfect alternative and is available at an additional fee in summer. It is provided complimentary in winter.

The Standard Wedding Packages are suitable for 25 – 80 guests and include the use of The Atlantic Terrace Marquee for the reception.

The Atlantic Terrace Marquee

The bride and groom may celebrate with a stylish reception at the Atlantic Terrace Marquee. The ideal venue for a dazzling wedding, catering for up to 80 guests. This impressive semi-permanent space offers unsurpassed sea views; thanks to its open marquee. Inviting glorious sunsets to spill directly into the main seating area. The all-white, neutral palette allows brides to add their own personal stamp. On-trend with the best weddings in the world; exciting options include details such as ‘smoked sorbet service’ for the bridal couple. Who would like to surprise their guests with an even more exciting dining experience.

Seating Style
The main table can be a long traditional table, seating up to eight guests. Or a round table, seating a maximum of twelve guests per table. Due to the dimensions of the Atlantic Terrace Marquee, we can accommodate a maximum of 6 x round guest tables and one main / top table.

Atlantic Terrace Marquee Reception Includes:

Please note: Venue hire is subject to availability on booking
The Atlantic Terrace Marquee venue hire ends at 11 pm
Dancing is permitted in the Marquee until 10.30 pm. Thereafter light background music is allowed until 11 pm.
High tea and brunch wedding receptions cannot be held in the Atlantic Terrace Marquee on a weekend afternoon during the Spring and Summer periods. These may be held on a weekday afternoon during the Spring and Summer periods, subject to availability. (Block out dates will apply)
During the Winter Period, high tea and brunch wedding receptions may be held on a Saturday afternoon.

After Party

The Lions Head Room can be booked at an additional fee for an after party celebration. It is available from 9 pm to 2 am. This a spacious venue on the hotel’s fourth floor with its own private bar and restrooms. It is a popular choice for those looking to extend dancing on the wedding evening. This really does add to the splendor of the day. Giving couples and their guests the feeling that they are partying in their own private nightclub.

The above packages are for residents outside of South Africa and we can create a magical honeymoon for the couple after their special day. Or for their guests to go on safari or visit other attractions in Southern or Eastern Africa.
