Some of these activities are: The Valley of the Waves* which is a man-made beach complete with water slides, The Village People is a cultural village and shebeen (township bar), Safari Game Drives in the Pilanesberg National Park, Hot Air Ballooning, Lion Park, Elephant Back Safaris, Quad Biking, Clay Target Shooting, Parasailing, Pedal boating, Wake Boarding, Jet Skiing, Butterfly World. There is just so much to see and do.
*The Valley of Waves is the central feature of the Lost City at Sun City. It is one of the most advanced water parks in the world. Dominated by the Roaring Lagoon; a 6500 square meter (7560 square yards) wave pool with a palm-fringed beach. Hydraulic mechanisms can generate a 1,8 meter (6 feet 8 inches) wave every 90 seconds. Catch the tide and body surf to shore. Laze beneath a windswept palm, ride and slide your way to more thrills; and afterward; amble over to the beach bar where island cocktails and snacks await. All Resort residents enter the park free of charge by presenting their resident cards. Day visitors are required to pay an entrance fee to the park.
