Tanda Tula Safari Camp - Timbavati white lionTanda Tula Safari Camp in the heart of the Timbavati Nature Reserve bordering the Kruger National Park, offers an extraordinary wilderness experience in ultimate luxury.

Offering every comfort, the thatched en-suite tents are imbued with the romance of Africa. Wide wooden decks and spacious bathrooms with Victorian baths and outside showers are reminiscent of a bygone era.

Tanda Tula Safari Camp has recently undergone an extensive camp refurbishment. The decision was made to reduce the number of guests in the safari vehicles to 6 thereby enabling everyone to have a 'window' seat (was 8). Rate now also includes drinks from the mini bars in the Safari Camp Luxury Tents.

Tanda Tula Safari Camp - game driveThe Timbavati Private Nature Reserve forms part of the Greater Kruger National Park, a vast wilderness of more than 3.5 million hectares.

The reserve is known for its incredible variety of game including the Big Five (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo and rhino). The Timbavati is renowned for its numerous lion prides as well as the famous White Lions of the Timbavati.

The highly skilled ranger and tracker teams at Tanda Tula Safari Camp guide guests in the early mornings and evenings, in open Land Rovers or on foot.

Each of the Safari Camp’s rangers and trackers are amongst the most highly qualified in Africa. Their extensive knowledge and training ensures that your game experience will be unforgettable, exciting and informative.

The Timbavati is also recognised for its low human impact. With only 9 lodges in more than 50,000 hectares, guests experience the bush at its most pristine. The lodges have mutual traversing and co-operate well with each other in animal sightings during all game drives.

Tanda Tula Safari Camp - accommodation in a Luxury TentTanda Tula has 12 luxurious East African-styled tents. All the tents are totally private with stunning views overlooking the riverbed. Each tent has its own private deck with loungers or deck chairs. The interiors are furnished in great elegance and comfort.
