Botswana‘s greatest attractions include the amazing wonder of the Okavango Delta and the game-rich Chobe National Park. This itinerary takes you into the heart of the Okavango Delta before traveling onto the Chobe National Park (plus Nxai and the Central Kalahari option too). There’s also an option to spend the day at Victoria Falls included if you stay 3 nights. There is so much to do at Chobe that we would highly recommend if you have the time, to add the 3rd night or; add 2 (or more) nights at the amazing Elephant Camp in Victoria Falls.

The Green Desert Safari is the only competitively priced quality safari circuit that is available all year round. They include all accommodation, meals, local drinks, park fees activities, and transport to the lodges.

Day 1 & 2:

The Botswana Green Desert Safari adventure begins with a twenty minute light aircraft flight from Maun. You will be able to see some of Africa’s most celebrated animals from a bird’s eye view.

Spend 2 nights at Moremi Crossing OR Dinare Camps
Activities at Moremi Crossing & Gunn’s Camp: mokoro, game walks, motorboat cruise
Activities at Dinare Camps (Mma or Rra): On & off-road game drives (day & night) in a private concession adjacent to Moremi Game reserve, seasonal water activities on the Gomoti river, and game walks available depending on local conditions.

Day 3 & 4

Your flight today takes you to the Chobe National Park and into one of the most prolific wildlife areas in Africa. Chobe offers extensive game viewing from water and land.

2 nights at Chobe Safari Lodge or Chobe Bush Lodge.
Chobe Safari or Bush Lodge includes 2 x Game Drives, 2 x Boat Cruises, 3 x days park fee.

Day 5

After breakfast, guests will transfer to Kasane Airport where you will be able to continue with your trip.

Tau Pan:

The above packages that include Nxai Pan Camp can be replaced with Tau Pan Camp in the Central Kalahari Game Reserve for an additional flight cost of $145 per person in mid and high season. In low season, this will be $190.

Tau Pan Camp also includes:
Game drives, day trips to the well-known Deception Valley, Sunday, Piper and Passarge Pans, star gazing, nature walks with Bushman trackers; as well as return transfers to Maun.
